Up to 70K grant funding with Vernadsky Challenge
The Vernadsky Challenge, an engineering startup competition with 2М UAH (app. 70 000 USD) grant funding, is accepting applications for 2020.
Focus of our interest:
- space technologies (rockets, launch mechanics, satellites, space engineering, AI for aerospace and anything that can bring us closer to space)
- active bioelectronics (biotechnology medicine, prostheses, and exoskeletons, medical gadgets, medical equipment as well as any device that uses tech to enhance the human body).
To apply, visit --> https://vernadskychallenge.com/, download, fill in and return the application form before September 1, 2020.
If you want to boost your startup, gain new connections in knowledge-sharing and innovative environment do not hesitate to submit an application.
To apply and find more info visit: https://vernadskychallenge.com/
Vernadsky Challenge is managed by the NGO Association Noosphere https://noosphereglobal.com/.
Our main goal is to attract attention of young people to STEM science as well force people's interest to innovations. Among our activities there are: Tech festival with robotics competitions - BESTROBOFEST https://bestrobofest.com/en/, Engineering startup competition Vernadsky Challenge https://vernadskychallenge.com/, Noosphere Engineering School - a network of 7 labs launched in cooperation with leading Ukrainian tech universities https://noosphereengineering.com/en.
Each year we host local events NASA Space Apps Challenge Dnipro and Act In Space Dnipro. In 2019 we also started a series of space events such as Noosphere Space Summit https://noospheresummit.space/en/2019 and Noosphere Space Art Challenge https://noospheresummit.space/en/art-challenge

Corsi non distruttivi, difettosità e prestazione dei materiali compositi per applicazioni strutturali
January 29-30, Polytechnic of Milan, Milano, Italy
Associazione NanoItaly, together with Assocompositi, will organize in January 29-30 at Polytechnic of Milan the conference "Controlli non distruttivi, difettosità e prestazioni dei materiali compositi per applicazioni strutturali". The course will include both theoretical lessons and practical demonstrations of the main analysis techniques for the characterization of defects in composite materials: fractography with microscope, ultrasound, microradiography and much more.
